Ingredients
12 oz. frozen ford hook lima beans
water
1" hunk of fat back
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 T. bacon grease
1 tsp. my house seasoning (equal parts garlic powder, onion powder and pepper...combine and store in an airtight container)
How To Make It:
Place the beans in a pot and cover them with water. Bring up to a boil and add the fat back and bouillon cube. Reduce the heat to med. and cook for 25 minutes or until tender. Season with the bacon grease and house seasoning. Remove the fat back prior to serving.
