In the cold autumn and winter days that are ahead of us, we offer the ideal solution for a tasty and healthy lunch or dinner. Our present proposal is to cook homemade broccoli soup with millet. If you are not a big fan of broccoli, replace it with cauliflower, cabbage or carrots.
Ingredients:
30 g rye flakes
50 g millet
400 g broccoli
1 carrot
1 onion
1 clove garlic
little salt and pepper
1 ½ liters of water
Preparation:
-Chop the onion and garlic in small cubes and place in a deep pan on the fire to fry. Chop the carrots into circles, add it to the pan and cook until soft. Meanwhile, in a bowl with water boil the broccoli. It takes about 5 minutes. Drain and add it to the pan with the vegetables. Pour water, season the soup and cook it for about 20 minutes. With the help of hand blender, blend the soup well. Then return the soup again on fire, put millet and rye flakes and cook another 10 minutes. Good appetite!
